Herbalife Nutrition Fueled South by Southwest
Thought leaders, social influencers and Herbalife Nutrition Independent Distributors all converged in Austin, Texas, for one of the capital city’s most beloved, multifaceted annual events, South by Southwest (SXSW). The multiday festival included music, film, forums, interactive media and, of course, food. For attendees, long days spent walking to and from back-to-back outdoor activities called for proper nutrition and hydration, and who better to fuel them than Herbalife Nutrition?
Herbalife Nutrition had a dynamic five-day brand activation, putting the spotlight on our purpose to make the world healthier and happier, while bringing balanced nutrition to the festival with our Fit + Fuel Station. Over the course of this high-energy nutrition experience, more than 9,000 festivalgoers visited the space to sample our shakes, aloe and tea, as well as our grab-and-go products like Liftoff®, Herbalife24® CR7 Drive (and by the way, even Cristiano Ronaldo chimed in on social media!), Protein Bars and Protein Bites. What’s more, hundreds took the time to chat with local Distributors about the Herbalife Nutrition purpose and even share their own goals on our Purpose Chalkboard Wall.
The response to our setup, our products and our mission was overwhelmingly positive! For some, our booth was the highlight of their SXSW adventure. See yourself! What’s not to love about a free shake bar, nutritious snacks and happiness-inducing, childlike fun in a ball pit? Thousands of visitors shared their experience using our event hashtag, #FuelYourSXSW, garnering millions of impressions across multiple social media platforms. That’s nearly 5,000 tweets, 600 Instagram posts and over 160 million online impressions! The feeling of excitement was mutual, as it was Herbalife Nutrition’s first time participating at SXSW. The entrepreneurial spirit and desire to “Build It Better” through innovation are cornerstones of our company, so to be a part of the largest meeting of visionaries and creative minds just felt right.
